rat problem
social housing unit, large fly tipping at bottom of garden before i came. I cordened it off with chicken wire and then screen and finally the wood rolls for decorating around grass edges etc.
my chis cannot get into the fly tip. found a rat in the common area. Large fat cats all round, they kill them on and off 'the pitch' but i have multiple autoimmune complexes and worry about further disease and the chihuahuas bringing more diseases to give to ME! any solutions to rid the rats in a social housing cul de sac? palminnie1 |

If it is social housing then, you should contact them as in their enviroment section they have the means to send out rentokill people to deal with the situation....

Clay from Tory Island (off Donegal I think) is said to get rid of rats. You sprinkle it around the area where you have the problem. So if you know someone heading there ask them to bring you some. Or maybe you could check out if there is someone on Tory a member of Jumbletown! regards Athy55

rat problem solution
one of the oldest and best and green methods are usually the most simpelest.
The places where the rats are going, just use peper in that area. It is harmless (reasonably) for the rat, but he won't come to that area ever again. And they are intelligent animals so the information will be passed on to the rest quickly as well. |

bait traps with peanut butter, the nasty nasty things adore it. and if it is social housing definitely contact the environmental section so that they come take care of the infestation. urgh, disgusting creatures!
