Thanks bluecurlygirl, just ordered one of them. Great idea.

Would have thought that traffic from wherever would be appreciated, as getting people to use and reuse the site is, after all, promoting our environmental awareness.
Just my view.

Hi Bettybooboopbedoop,

We welcome traffic from all quarters -- the point I was making is that we are only in a position to manage the JumbleTown site. Looking after a Facebook or MySpace page with updates and responses is beyond our resources. All too often, people set up Facebook and MySpace pages and then ignore the fact that they need to be maintained.

I added a link to JT on my Facebook and it works wonderfully. Just added it today and the JT logo automatically comes up on my Facebook.

yes Chris, i know what you mean. I have often visited sites that are a few years old in their information. Someone obviously thought it was a great idea at the time, but of course didn't realise the work involved. I'd say that ye're hands are full as it is. Must say though, that ye do a great job.

I've put banner links and a copy-able banner link code on two of my MySpace pages for anyone who wants to put a link on their page or website - check it out! :D

www.myspace.com/homelessanimalsireland

www.myspace.com/wellnessandabundance

It's at the bottom of the left hand column on both profiles.

I tell anyone who will listen about Jumbletown - one of the reasons I pass it on is because I feel it is such a well run site (updated regularly, monitored well etc). I have tampered briefly with some of the other sites, but came back to JT! Well done!

Isn't that a coincidence bluecurlygirl.... recently a neighbour of mine, who just happens to work at dept agri, asked me to offer some stuff on jt!!
Your ad on the intranet must have egged her on, even tho she knows I am a jt member and have offered and received in the past.

Well done:)
