Default Jumbletown Express!!!

Hi Chris and everyone on Jumbletown. Just wondering if it would be an idea to put up a thread for people travelling to different areas of the country. I sometimes travel from the Midlands to the Drogheda area (Termonfeckin to be precise as that is where I'm from originally and visit family). I pass through Trim, Navan, Duleek and Drogheda on the way. I have already collected and passed on items from these areas and am currently going to collect something for Jenniferalan in Walshestown to pass on to her in Galway via the "Linn in Kinnegad express "(although it may not always be that fast we get there eventually). It just shows we can transport items from East to West when we want to without having to spend anything at all. Linn has picked up things in Dublin for me and likewise I have given things to Linn to pass on, so maybe there could be a travel thread for anyone that may be going to different areas that the could let Jumbletowners know and transport items. Sometimes things wouldn't be worth the postage costs.

Default from Admin

Hi Moeby,

Thanks for the suggestion, Moeby, but I can't see this happening.

Since JumbleTown started in 2006, it have been the responsibility of Takers to organise the collection of items by whatever means.

The Managers of the site have also instructed Admin that the site's function is to help Givers and Takers connect and not really to help Takers collect. Assisting in any way in the transport or delivery of items is beyond our remit, as it's off the Forum and very much out of our hands. Sorry about that.

Thanks for the feedback.

Regards
