![]() If Only! My idea to save energy in my home is to pedal a bike, attached is a dynamo 12v, to that is an inverter, and to that is the radio and one light bulb. the kids think i am mad but i have everything except the dynamo. I am going to do it too, my ESB bill this month was 340euro, not funny!

![]() reviving dead car batteries is relativly easy. They don't make great electric vehicle batteries though but if they're free.....
EI1429 i have what you need and some experience with alternative energy so drop me a pm if you want advice. |

![]() 1. How is battery/electical power green or eco friendly when power plants have to burn coal and oil to produce the energy stored in a battery ?
2. Good idea on the cycling front. I'd love to have a stand that allows me to transform my road bike into a stationary bike. |

Well the idea is to cut out the Power Plant and just use human power or solar power, My plans have been put on hold for the moment but i plan on starting them up again some time this year. Hope this answers your question? |
