Default Make a surfboard from old election posters

Here's a small article I did a while ago.

http://olivierlonguet.blogspot.com/2...-lisboard.html

I got a load of old election posters ( i stopped by the road when they were taking them down and asked it I could have them... they were only to happy to oblige), glued them together and shaped it into a surfboard. My idea was too use old bed sheets and some boat epoxy resin leftovers instead of fiber glass and epoxy glass resin but it didn't work too well. I later found why, I need to sand the deck and bottom of the board to provide grip. I'll try again as soon as I can get my hand on leftovers of resin.

Very good idea. Sorry it didn't work out for you. When I saw all the posters lying around the place I thought really hard what they could be reused for because they are very good quality. I was going to reuse them for signs for a car boot sale I organised but by the time I came up with that idea it was too late and they were gone.

We used them to line the walls of the sheds that our classic cars are in..Turned them pic side in and the place is so clean lookin now..keep the place warm and dry and are nicer to look at than the back of the galvanize..And are great to take pics of the cars in front of..

I've been thinking about that. I'll get on it at the next referendum :)

I however made a heat exchanger for the house ventilation system with using election posters. works wonders (both yes and no side of the referendum were used in equal parts :) )
