Default Left over wool and fabric

I don't have any before pics of the fabric and wool I used for these crafts (but you know what leftover wool and fabric pieces look like right?)

Thanks to MargaretW for the oddments of wool and to Maxi for the fabric pieces and to Linn for the needles.

Here's what I made from them... a pair of knitted slippers for me and a pair of knitted slippers for Himself (modelled by a heavy metal frog...don't even ask!...there is a long story behind it!)

...And the little cushions were made from small pieces of fabric. It's amazing what can be made from small leftover craft materials.

I have to go now as I am on the night shift in the Shreddies factory :-)

Default Slippers

Love the slippers and would love the pattern. My 11 year old has just become interested in knitting and crochet. Her Nan has taught her to crochet and I would like to encourage her to knit, so I think this would be an easy enough one to be interesting for her. Can you check the name of the website for the pattern for the slippers. I have tried the one you quoted but doesnt seem to be it. I also think they would be great to make for the shoebox appeal next Christmas.

Default slippers pattern

http://www.garnstudio.com/lang/en/vi..._id=29&lang=en

Hi, I have found the free online pattern I used for these and it is very easy to knit. To make mens I just used thicker wool and bigger needles and added a few stitches. Happy knitting!!!

Default Slippers

Thanks for the inspiration and the link. The pattern is now in the archives of www.garnstudio.com/drops/mags

The patterns are numbered so just go to pattern 111/31

Just need to root out the needles and wool.

Regards,

GRACIE123
