Default disability adaption grants

am applying shortly for one of these.
can people tell me is the process difficult and torturous?
i guess it might be.
pitfalls?
advice?
i am mobility compromised..suffer a lot in confined areas and need specialist need of flow of air at all times due to an autoimmune disease..wheelchair user.

Hi there
Suggest you get in touch with your local Primary Care Team Occupational Therapist - dunno how things are with you but I'm an OT in Cavan and we deal with these quite often.
