![]() Hi Everyone,
We're doing an upgrade over the next few days and some features may disappear for a while. We'll try to keep the disruption to a minimum. Apologies for the inconvenience. Regards Chris P Admin |

![]() Thanks for the feedback, guys. Some of the changes we're making have been in the pipeline for some time. Once we get the functionality right, we'll tweak the changes re: font size, spacing, colour, alignments etc. Please bear with us.
Thanks again. Regards Chris P Admin |

![]() The color coded dropdown menu (available/ reserved / taken) is fab!
Something which would be great as well is a Bump^ button next to buttons Edit & Quote; just another suggestion to avoid endless Bumpybump threads... |

![]() Hi Chris P, Dave Hagan!
Can I search for new posts the "old" way - listing newest post first and in posting order. I do not like the list where I have to go through all categories! Happy upgrade! Thanks Sabrinabray x |

![]() Hi Sabrinabray,
The old search function is no longer available as it was finding a combination of new posts and new items/ads added to JumbleTown. The new search only finds new items/ads added since your last visit. The search results returned are now grouped by forum category, but the newest items are still listed at the top of each forum section in the search results. Keep in mind, you can turn off 'searching' for forums you're not interested in by creating your own 'default search' here: http://www.jumbletown.ie/forums/searchdefaults.php Regards Dave Hagan Admin |

![]() I did a 'New Items' search this morning which yielded 95 items. I did another 'New Items' search some time later which yielded 97 items i.e. the original 95 items + 2 more. However under the new system the 2 latest additions do not display at the top of the list and are therefore very difficult, and indeed impossible, to locate. Is there any way of easily identifying new items listed since the last search? If not, I do think that this aspect of the upgrade is not helpful and actually makes the site more difficult to navigate. I presume that if I leave a greater time lapse between searches I may not encounter this problem - but I would like to be able to continue to do a search when it suits - and still get a clear list of all new items posted to the site.
I really love this site so please take my comments as constructive criticism only! Kittymo |

![]() Hi Kittymo,
As the results are now grouped by forum, the two latest additions you refer to are listed at the top of the forum they are in. Thanks for the feedback, we will be making note of all comments related to the changes we've made and may make further alterations. Regards Dave Hagan Admin |

![]() if there was a posibility of sorting posts in order - for instance when you search by county, then the Area - County - Status - Replies - Views buttons up top were tabs that you could click to go in some kind of order? Just a thought

Totally agree with the bump button idea!! Not used to the new search yet but I'm sure it'll grow on me, have to say I miss the old one at the mo... On the whole the new features are great. |
