A nice idea here for a Pallet Garden! This is the link, and it has some other ingenious and frugal ideas for balcony living. Hope you like:

Wow! Thanks TickTock, great link, what a brilliant idea x

Glad you like. So many people here have worked miracles with pallets I hoped it would be of interest. Not so much to me though as I've a big garden, but it could still be used for herbs if I ever run out of space!

That's brilliant I would've loved one of those when I lived in my flat!!!really great idea :)

Here is another idea for pallets. As I said before we are useless at diy in our house, so I leave the ideas to those with talent, but I thought you might like this. If it has been on here before, apologies.

I'm absolutely amazed at how inventive all you "palleteers" are! Think I've caught the bug, have start scouring around to see if I can find some:)

That's a great title, "palleteers"! A bit like Muskateers, but dunno what you could make with a "musk"!! :-)

How did you join the pallets together?

Here's a few more pictures of the recent progress.
Pallets are joined together at the base and sides with screws and using 2 pallet planks to join them vertically and horizontally to the next ones. Makes for a pretty solid structure and the cladding (outside and inside) will reinforce it further.

That is unbelievably wonderful, it reminds me of the house James May built out of lego, that is one epic project though which I don't think I would be able to master alone! Any updates now?
I cannot believe how much space there is inside. And a great way to re use those old election posters I see!!!!
CONGRATULATIONS!
