Just found out how to resize/upload photos in 8 easy steps
1. Make sure you have your photo saved on your computer and know where it is saved
2. Click into START, PROGRAMMES, ACCESSORIES, PAINT. 3. Click into FILE (top left of screen) and OPEN and browse and select the file (photo) you want (your photo will appear on the screen) (large size). 4. Select IMAGE (from top row) and then STRETCH/SKEW. 5. Change both the Horizontal and the Vertical (in the stretch) to 20% instead of 100%. 7. You will see your photo has now reduced (but it will not be SAVED). 8. Click File at the top, then SAVE. sometimes if your photos are very large, you might have to stretch and skew to 15%. |

Took me one minute to resize a photo. Let me know how you got on. My daughter gives me very detailed instructions how to do things, or else I wouldn't be able. Good luck. Strictly Come Dancing, X Factor, Celebrity. Good night on the box. Must go. |
you can also resize on your camera before you take your pics. hope that helps, much faster than all that.

After I upload pics to windows photo gallery,I right click on the pic, and a resize option comes up, small, medium, large, custom. Click on custom, enter 127 in "size" and then upload to " add pic" in ad options
I find this way the easiest, but then I am still learning to use the pc ........... otherwise I use photo bucket :) |

Not on my camera. I don't know much about it but my daughter called and looked at it and said that the smallest measurements on the camera were still four times bigger than necessary. She taught me how to resize on the computer. |

Hi Everyone,
If you have a photo(s) of your item but are unable to meet our guidelines in relation to file size and photo dimensions (640x640, 130k), then we will be happy to edit your photos. The steps are as follows: 1. Email your photo(s) to photos@jumbletown.ie. In your email, include a link to the item on JumbleTown or indicate what forum it is in and what the item is. 2. We'll edit your photo and add it to your post. If you wish to edit your own photos, our guidelines and instructions may be found here: http://www.jumbletown.ie/forums/user...ddingimage.htm Finally, please check out our User Tips post, which is at the top of all the Givers' forums/listings...here: http://www.jumbletown.ie/forums/showthread.php?t=6327 Regards Chris P Admin |
Yeh, I just emailed it to Chris P- I'm terrible with computers
|
Just bumping this up for myself :D
How's that for selfishness ;) |
Hahahha, I know loads of people on here who would love to know this stuff...sending the pics to Chris P may be simple, but I rather just get it up when i post the item and not have to worry about anything except who it is going to...especially since i tend to post in bulk, doesnt mean i dont appreciate you Chris ;)

Thanks for bumping Narizota. Its very handy to be able to reduce the size of photos and upload them. Gets easier the more times you do it. |
