I had two compost bins and various pots and seed trays to give away and rather than putting them on here and have people driving for miles to collect them, I put an add on my local allotments site notice board, about half a mile from my home and they were taken immediately by local person, no petrol used, etc. Worth a try.

It's good to hear that you are supporting your local allotments.

JumbleTown Admin is aware of the fact that folks travelling many miles to collect an item is undesirable from an environmental point of view.
