I didn't get to read the last word sorry, yep, I was thinking of tyres! :D The tubes are great for swimming in lakes... well, probably not the best use in the Irish weather :D Hmm, have to come up with something else... |

I saw a garden where someone had stretched them to make planters of different shapes and heights. He had all different types of tubes,at one end he had his herbs and veg.there he just had rectangle shapes. He just shretched them over a piece of timber. It was the quickest garden make over ever and the beauty of it was they could be moved on a whim, |

![]() Myself and hubbie were lookin for these for the daft raft race on the river here in Trim to use as a hovercraft type thingy..when we were younger we used to buy them off the tyre man in the town here for 50p and sit in them and race eachother down the river..great fun and not too dangerous because the river is quiet shallow in summer..It used to be great craic..

I'd be interested in a couple of them if the thickness of the Tube was large enough. Could you measure across one section of the tube while it's lying flat on the ground please and let me know what it is? What I want to do is; cut a length say about 2ft, out of the tube, the internal diameter of this piece is what is important to me. Thanks Flexwing |
