Definitely wouldn't say so. Thought only paper and tetra packs went in there. Think you have to bring bulbs to the Bring Centre. |

No glass should be put in the Green Bin. Bottles should be brought to your nearest Bottle Bank. Details here: http://www.galwaycity.ie/AllServices...ntresandBanks/ Light bulbs should be brought to Galway City Council's Recycling Centre, which is located in the Liosbaun Industrial Estate. Details here: http://www.galwaycity.ie/AllServices...cyclingCentre/ Regards Chris P Admin |

![]() Just incase anyone in applicable regions are reading, glass can go in green bins provided by panda as well as small electrical items which is very handy :) glass/electric=lightbulb... but I'm not sure..

![]() Just bring the bulb with you when you go to buy the new one. The outlet is obliged to take it off you as they have just likely charged you 50cent towards the Producer Recycling Fund (PRF) to do so on the new bulb.
If you don't bring back your electric items you're giving someone free money. It's all at http://www.weeeireland.ie/ http://www.weeeireland.ie/retailers.htm |

![]() Before you go to Dunnes with all your old lightbulbs, be aware because as far as I know, they will only take one for every new bulb you buy. So you can't give in 10 bulbs if you're only buying one new one.
