![]() Went a bit mad the other wk bought lots of bulbs, plants what not, ran short of some stuff so I've improvised with what I had in the kitchen & made my own little green houses from bottles!
And they're working a Treat too! |

![]() Hi Jennie I love your idea. Thats recycling at its best as you can use it over and over again and when your finished with it you can send it off for recycling again in the plastic banks. Well in this time of economy thats fantastic thanks for sharing that regards Lolo

![]() It must be something in the air. I did something similar with one's I have lying about also. I cut them at the top though and filled the bottom of the bottle then put the top part inside the the bottle to act like a funnel to catch rain.
Not sure if I described that very well. And I can't find my camera. Lisa |

![]() hi,
a friend of mine was using these in her garden so i copied her for growing peas. I always had trouble with birds and slugs destroying new shoots but with this idea they are growing safely and staying warm. this is definatley a great new trend! |

![]() Brilliant idea, those bottles are 1.86 in Aldi, might use the idea myself if you don't mind, then i'll transfer my new shoots to fish boxes, have them raised off the ground with concrete blocks for convenience!

![]() Seen the gardener on the Afternoon show the other morning giving this idea one of his 10 free things for the garden. he sid dont use small bottles like coke etc as they get too hot inside and burn the plants. also salt on weeds that are popping up at edge of driveways instead of chemicals, going try it the next fine day we have.....
