repairing a garden chair

hi all,

just wondering if any of you have any ideas on how to repair a ciggie hole in a textoline chair (feels like the stuff in the clothes lines)

i was thinking maybe get the same colour tread and sew the hole up, but maybe you JTers might have some better ideas.


any ideas welcome,
