We cater for all,we buy the big bags of bird seed for the small ones,nuts from the €shops till we have enough of the nets that they come in and just fill them,make fat balls,we have so many hanging...

did this years ago and it works,only thing is cover the drainage holes with tape or as the rain gets in and clogs or cakes the seed.it also works as a hanging water supply system....

Well Talulah40 correctly identified these,the best way to deal with them is to let the birds loose.
Cover the ground with black plastic when you remove it in the morning they should waiting to allow...

I got them in a garden centre,they were €2.50 each.I bought them as a quick fix solution.
You can also buy them in the seed packets,for the same price,which I also got.I had been so addled by the cat...

Apparently unibond do a silicone remover,it comes in a tube like the silicone one,and can be found in diy stores.
If you have a spare tile and some silicone,then maybe you should pour some over it...
